Jamie Osborn

Since losing a bet in high school, Jamie has been in the radio business! His journey started in Casper Wyoming in 1978 and brought him to Southern California in the early 80’s. Osborn’s voice was been heard on all 7 continents as the host of various syndicated radio programs in the 90’s. American Service Personnel world wide grooved to Osborn’s American Dance Traxx, a weekly countdown of the hottest dance songs in the country. Residents of Malaysia tuned in each week for the latest in American Music and information during Osborn’s weekly radio program.
In his first stint in Las Vegas in 1995, Osborn and Morning Show Partner Gregg Hodges took the market by storm. Their antics became the talk of the town and at one point they arranged a dimming of the lights by all strip casino’s in a tribute to the late George Burns. All the commotion caught the attention of the Los Angeles radio market and Osborn returned to So Cal to briefly host the morning show on upstart Y-107. But Vegas was in his blood, 3 years later Osborn returned as the Production Director for the Beasley Group.
In between all the broadcast excitement, Osborn is a published author. His book called “DUH” (Dumb, Unintelligent, Humans) was published in 2003 and sold about 59 copies. Jamie is also a single father of 7 adopted children ranging in ages from 17 to 34. He also has 3 grandchildren.
Osborn left Las Vegas in 2004 for the Virgin Islands acting as program director for the regions only Rock Radio Station, “The Buzz”. Vegas called again in 2006 as Osborn returned as the “Creative Services” Director once again for the Beasley Broadcast Group. Since then, Osborn has won numerous awards for production, writing and commercial concepts. Spots have aired world wide for various clients including Planet Hollywood, The “M” Resort as well as many local and regional clients.
Osborn also branched into the world of television as host of a weekly internet Program entitled “DUH”! The show is actually a spin off of his book where the week’s news and stupid people are highlighted with a heavy emphasis on opinion! Nearly 250,000 people a week tune in to listen and view Osborn and his antics. Guests have included local and statewide political candidates, psychics and even Osborn’s own children.
