Alan Colmes is an American radio and TV host, liberal political commentator and blogger. He is the host of the nationally syndicated talk radio program, The Alan Colmes Show, airing on Fox News Talk on both Sirius and XM satellite radio. He began his radio career at Hofstra University’s WRHU and moved on to WABC, WNBC, WHN, WEVD (New York), WNHC (New Haven), WEZE, and WZLX (Boston). From 1996 to 2009, Colmes served as the liberal counterpart to Sean Hannity as co-host of Hannity & Colmes, a political debate program airing nightly on Fox News Channel. Off-air, Colmes runs the Liberaland blog, contributes to AOL News, and wrote the book: Red, White, & Liberal: How Left is Right and Right is Wrong.
